This 1978 hit by Eric Clapton peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, but made a much larger impact in the culture than it's chart position would suggest.  It's emerged as a standard across multiple generations, and has been one of the most requested songs I've encountered in my now 35+ year career performing professionally for audiences.  I love playing this tune, and it's a great opportunity to see how both a very understated approach, and the Syncopated (Heartbeat) Feel can sometimes work for the same song.
