I first signed up for one of Piano Man Steve’s online courses in 2017, coming from a more traditional reading music background.  I have loved learning a new approach to playing the piano and bought every course he's released, and I now have so much information/resources at my fingertips to use as and when I want, far more cost effective than paying for piano lessons. I love Steve’s enthusiasm, also he genuinely seems interested and to care about his students progress, always finding new methods and ways to help, eg song demos & free tips on his blog, a community group with Q & A sessions etc.  I have recommended to a few friends who were beginners and they have really enjoyed the crash course available. 

I have no hesitation in recommending Piano Man Steve, he is great!

As a musician (Guitar), I wanted to expand my musical abilities. I thought adding a piano would be a great addition. I thought it would be a snap since I already knew a bit about music. Hi, I'm Jim AND I WAS WRONG. Lol, it was not a snap. I bought a digital keyboard and started teaching myself. Well, that didn't go so good, so I started looking for help. I tried teachers which were very expensive and very little actual contact/teaching. Found some on-line classes, but they just wouldn't work for me. Trying to teach things that either I wasn't interested in or I already knew. Finally, I found Steve's Courses and WOW!!!  Exactly what I needed. For me, his "Piano Man Approach" was perfect. His method gets right to the core of learning the piano. Doesn't matter what genre you are interested in. With Steve's method you will be able to learn any style of music, in the quickest time possible. He has a great attitude and teaching skills that are the best I have ever seen plus, equally important for me as a musician, he not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk. Great musician and Entertainer. Watching one of his live streams is as gratifying as being at a concert with a great seat.  If you are interested in learning the piano, I would, without any hesitation, highly recommend "The Piano Man Approach" method created by Steve Lungrin. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I am in my 70’s and have always enjoyed learning more about my favorite instrument, the piano. I have taken online piano courses and searched for tips online many times. Most courses are focused on theory on how to form chords /chord progressions etc. but almost never show you how to use them. Steve’s courses explain the tools you need and clearly set out step-by-step instructions on how to find the chords and rhythms pattern needed to play many different genres of music, along with examples. His courses are overflowing with guidance and tips to help the student at each step. Steve is an excellent teacher and an accomplished piano player. I enjoy his playing and teaching methods and am very, very glad I am taking his online courses.

 Steve's process of focusing on keyboard rhythms and playing along with backing tracks or  play along songs with chords really struck a chord with me (excuse the pun) and changed my whole playing, with so many of these play along songs now available his chord rhythm lessons mean I can play an endless number of songs and  I don’t have to remember any.

I recall him saying don’t worry if you don’t get all the rhythms under your belt, that you started with just the one standard rock rhythm and that I would develop skills by experience, and that’s true, I often surprise myself when I start playing with an intuitive feel and it sounds great.

“If you are not having fun making music, you're doing it wrong" saying is sooo true, now I’m addicted, I can’t stop playing I have nearly 1000 play along songs from a subscription and I start at 1 and go to 1000 then start again, all different styles and tempo, my music is never boring and it’s a lot like reading a book, I never know what’s on the next page till I start to play

Playing my music is a highlight of my day every day, I keep asking my neighbours if my music is a problem and they keep saying no they love it, even contactors have commented that they love the music

Over summer I took my small keyboard to the park and played which was great to enjoy playing in the outdoors too
